SourceChickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG isolated from normal pooled rabbit serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbent and conjugated to fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC).
